Are Wood Cabinets Right for You??

Wood cabinets can a great choice for garage storage cabinets. They are sturdy and you can even make them yourself.

Better yet, if you are remodeling a kitchen, you may be able to just transfer your old cabinets to the garage. All they may need is a little cabinet refinishing.

Of course, as with anything, there are many variations in quality. When choosing wood cabinets for your garage storage, it is best to spend a little more to get a good quality wood.

• You can make them yourself (if you are so inclined!)
• Higher quality wood is durable and sturdy
• May be able to re-use cabinets from in the house
• Can be waterproof
• Can rot if not sealed properly and/or left on ground
• Low quality wood or particle board will not last long
• Will not rust
